How Program Facilitators check volunteers in or out for Opportunities

❖ Heads up! This article is only intended for Program Facilitators. Program Facilitators or only available for Amplify and Sustain sites.

It's time for volunteers to start showing up and you want to ensure they sign in when they arrive so their hours are accurately reported. You can do this, by checking them in!

Checking Volunteers In

To check in volunteers, you must log into your Program Facilitator account, then:

  1. Go to Volunteerism > Hours from your dashboard.

  2. Click Check-In.

  3. Select List under the Opportunity you want to check volunteers in for.

    • If the Opportunity has scheduled shifts, click Select This Shift for the one you want to check volunteers in for.

    • You can also see how many volunteers are checked in for a shift under the Checked In column.

  4. Select a User Group as applicable.

    • Here you can review important Opportunity details under the Opportunity title—e.g., the date and time, how many volunteers are checked in, and how many slots are available.

  5. Check the boxes beside the volunteers you want to check in and click Check In Users.

    • The volunteers' statuses under the Checked In column changed from No to Yes and now appear in the Checked In Now tab.

Checking Volunteers Out

To check out volunteers:

  1. Go to Volunteerism > Hours.

  2. Select Checked In Now.

  3. Select the time you want to check the volunteer out of the Opportunity under the Check Out column.

    • Check-out time options vary depending on the Opportunity and set duration type.

  4. Click Check Out.
