❖ Heads up! This article is intended for Program Managers—a role available only on Amplify sites. You may also see this role referred to as Advanced Program Manager; both terms refer to the same user type.

By the end of this article, you will be able to:

  • Send an email to multiple volunteers in your Program

  • Use filters to target specific recipients

  • Personalize messages with template keys

Sending Email Blasts

Use the Email Blast tool to send messages to several or all volunteers in your Program at once.

  1. Go to Communication > Email Blast from your dashboard.

  2. Use the User Filter to select who you want to send the email blast to. This automatically includes all of the volunteers in your Program.

    • With the User Filter, you can search for users by User Data or Volunteer.

      • User Data: Select this to filter for volunteer information, e.g., user tags, skills, causes, etc.

      • Volunteer: Select this to filter by Opportunities volunteers have responded to or are on a waitlist for, etc.

  3. Add a Campaign Name.

  4. Select your From email. While you can add a verified email address here, we recommend using the no-reply@galaxydigital.com address.

  5. You can update the From Name as needed.

  6. Add a Subject.

  7. Use the editor to customize your message with color, images, links, and more!

  8. Insert the necessary template keys as necessary.

    • Please only click the template key to insert it.

  9. Click Send Email Blast.

You can also see what the message looks like to volunteers by clicking Send Me A Test before you hit send.

Using Template Keys

Template keys automatically insert volunteer-specific information into your message (for example, a recipient’s first name).

To insert a template key:

  1. Click in the message editor where you want the key to appear.

  2. Select the template key from the available list.
