How Shift Site Admins email members on their site

❖ Heads up! This article is only intended for Shift Site Admins.

You can send personalized messages to members on your site. This is a great feature when you want to send a personalized thank you to someone who volunteers or to share important information.

The Quickstart Button

1. Click the Quickstart button.

2. Select New email.

3. Search for recipients by name, shift, or tags.

4. Draft your email and click Send email when you're ready!

The Members Button

1. Click the Members button.

2. Open your options for the member you want to email.

3. Click Send email.

4. Draft your email and click Send email when you're ready!

Schedule Area

Need to send an email to a member about a shift they've registered for?

1. Go to Schedule.

2. Click the shift.

3. From here, you can:

Click the member to open up their profile window and email them from there:

Check the box beside the member you wish to email and click Email selected:

  • This is useful when you want to send an email to multiple members.

Click the message icon under the Options column for the member you wish to email:

4. Draft your email and click Send email when you're ready!

Reporting Area

See something in a report and want to notify a member about it? Maybe you need to confirm their hours or have a question about their data. You can email individual members directly from the Reporting area!

1. Go to Reporting > Members report.

2. Run the report for the dates you want to review.

3. Click the email address of the member you want to email to open the email window.

4. Draft your email and click Send email when you're ready!
