How Shift Site Admins register members for shifts

❖ Heads up! This article is only intended for Shift Site Admins.

You've added new members to your site and created some awesome shifts for them—time to register them! There are a few different ways you can start registering members for shifts. We encourage volunteers to register for shifts themselves, but you or another admin can schedule them whenever. You can do this with either the Quickstart or Members buttons or from the Schedule or Reporting areas of your site.

The Quickstart Button

1. Click the Quickstart button.

2. Select New Registration.

3. Search for the shift.

4. Search for the members you want to register.

5. You can send a personalized message if you want! This is optional but a great way to engage your volunteers and get them excited about the shift!

6. Click Register members when you're ready.

Want to bypass the automated notification that lets the member know they've been registered for the shift? Toggle the button Off beside Send email notification. However, we recommend sending the notification if the volunteer doesn't know you registered for them.

The Members Button

1. Click the Members button.

2. Click Assign shift for the member you want to register.

3. Search for the shift.

4. Add more members if needed.

5. Click Register members when you're ready!

Schedule Area

1. Click Schedule.

2. Select the shift from the calendar you want to register members for.

3. Click Register members.

4. Search for the members.

5. Click Register members when you're ready!

Reporting Area

1. Go to Reporting > Registrations.

2. Click Add Registration.

3. Search for the shift.

4. Search for the members you want to register.

5. Click Register members when you're ready!
