  • Choose the best channels to promote opportunities

Overview

Once your site is set up, sharing it is key to attracting volunteers. You can share your main site link or promote individual shifts. Use built-in sharing tools or copy links to distribute them wherever your audience is most active.

Sharing Your Site

There are a few ways to share your site:

Copy and Share Your Site URL

Use this option to promote your overall site.

  • Copy your site URL

  • Paste and share it via email, social media, or your organization’s website

Share Shifts on Social Media

Use this when promoting specific opportunities.

  1. Click View details for the shift.

  2. Click the share icon (top right).

  3. Select:

    • Share on Facebook

    • Share on Twitter

Copy a Direct Shift Link

Use this when you want to send a specific opportunity to your audience.

  1. Click View details for the shift

  2. Click the share icon

  3. Click Copy link

  4. Paste and share the link where needed

Where to Share Your Links

Email and Direct Outreach

  • Send available shifts to current members via email

  • Include links in outreach or recruitment messages

Social Media

  • Share your site link or specific shifts on your organization’s platforms

  • Highlight urgent or high-need opportunities

Website and Digital Content

  • Add your site link to your organization’s website

  • Use a clear call-to-action (e.g., Volunteer Now)

Print and Offline Materials

  • Add links to newsletters, flyers, or posters

  • Create a QR code for easy access from printed materials
