What Are Causes?
Causes help match Agencies with volunteers who share common interests. Volunteers can filter Agencies by Cause to find the ones that align with their passions.
When your Agency is registered on a site, you can associate it with one or more Causes. If you didn’t add a Cause during setup, you can add it later via the Edit Agency page.
Note: Not all sites have Causes enabled. If Causes are disabled, you cannot associate your Agency with a Cause.
Adding or Updating Causes
Go to My Agency.
Click Edit.
Scroll to Causes (visible only if enabled on your site).
Select a Cause from the dropdown.
Click Update Agency Info to save your changes.
✅ Tip: When a Cause is associated with your Agency, its icon appears on your Agency profile page.
Removing Causes
On the Edit Agency page, click the X next to the Cause you want to remove.
Click Update Agency Info to save changes.
Default and Custom Causes
Every site includes a default list of Causes
Site Managers can add or remove Causes based on site needs
If you want a new Cause for your Agency, contact your Site Manager to discuss options
