β Heads up! This article is intended for Agency Managers.
After registering your Agency on a volunteer site, set up your Agency's profile page to share key information such as your organization's mission statement, community impact, goals, contact details, and more.
Getting Started: Core Profile
The Core Profile contains the most important, or core, details about your Agency. This includes your organization's contact and location details, as well as any important mission statements, goals, and history you want to display on your Agency's profile page.
This is also where you can choose to share your Agency through Volunteer Link with companies dedicated to promoting employee volunteerism.
To get started:
Log in to your Agency Manager account.
Click My Agency (or My Agencies if you manage more than one).
Select the Agency.
Make sure you're on the Edit tab to start editing your Agency's profile.
Sharing Your Agency Through Volunteer Link
Connect to Volunteer Link: Turn this On to share your Agency's profile with companies using Volunteer Link to engage their employees in volunteerism.
Automatically promote my opportunities on Volunteer Link by default: Turn this On to have your posted volunteer Needs automatically shared with those companies through Volunteer Link.
Agency Core Profile Fields
Here are the fields on the Edit Agency page that appear on your Agency's profile page:

Address Fields | This includes Address, Address Line 2, City, State, Zip Code, and Country. Only the Zip Code and Country fields are required; all other fields are options.
However, if you leave the address field details blank, then the Additional Location Information will not appear to volunteers. |

Please note: This information only appears on your profile page when all Address Fields are provided. |

Add Agency Managers
A user must have a registered account on the site before you can add them as an Agency Manager.
From the Edit tab of your Agency Manager dashboard, scroll to the Agency Managers section.
Type the user's email address and select the user from the dropdown.
Click Okay when the pop-up appears.
The user is now an Agency Manager for that Agency.
Remove Agency Managers
You can remove an Agency Manager at any time.
NOTE: If you are the Primary Agency Manager and wish to remove yourself as an Agency Manager, you must first assign another Primary Agency Manager before you can remove yourself.
From the Edit tab of your Agency Manager dashboard, scroll to the Agency Managers section.
Click the X beside the Agency Manager you wish to delete.
Select Yes when the pop-up appears to confirm your selection.
Change Primary Agency Manager
If you wish to make someone else the Primary Agency Manager, you can; however, once they are the Primary Agency Manager, you will no longer have the ability to set others as the primary (including yourself).
From the Edit tab of your Agency Manager dashboard, scroll to the Agency Managers section.
Click the start icon for the individual you wish to set as the Primary Agency Manager.
Select Yes in the pop-up to confirm your selections.
Need to undo this change? You can either have the new primary reassign you as the primary or contact your site manager for help.
Additional Options
Here are the additional option fields you can utilize to personalize your Agency's profile further:
Field | Description |
Hours of Operation | Share your organization's hours of operation, e.g., M-F 8 am - 5 pm, closed on Holidays, etc. |
Social Media Links | Share your organization's social media platform links as applicable. |
Contact Fields | Include important ways for volunteers to contact you, such as Phone, Email, or Fax. |
Point of Contact Fields | You can designate a Point of Contact, including their title, so volunteers know who to address with specific questions about your organization. |
Additional Notification Recipient(s) | You can add additional notification recipients here, which means the individual emails you list here will receive the same email notifications as the Agency Managers listed for this Agency (i.e., newly posted volunteer Needs, new volunteer Need Responses, etc.).
Emails must be entered on their own individual lines. |
Customize Link | You can customize the end of your Agency's profile page URL here. |
Clusters | Clusters are only available if a Site Manager has created them for the site. If there are Clusters available, you can select the ones that apply to your specific Agency. This is only used to help group your Agency's volunteer Needs with other, similar Agency Needs. |
Agency Video | Enter a URL to a YouTube or Vimeo video that highlights your Agency and illustrates the kind of involvement your volunteers can expect when participating with your organization. |
