By the end of this article, you will be able to:

  • Submit hours for a volunteer

  • Understand when manual hour entry is required

  • Locate submitted hours in your reports

Before You Begin

Volunteers are encouraged to submit their own hours. However, you can enter hours on their behalf if needed.

The volunteer must have a submitted Need response for the Need you're adding hours to. If they haven’t responded, you won’t be able to select their name.

Add Hours from Time Tracking

  1. Go to My Agency > Time Tracking.

  2. Scroll below the Volunteer Hours table to the hour submission form.

  3. Select a Need from the Select a Need dropdown.

  4. Choose a volunteer from the Select a Volunteer dropdown.

    • If hours already exist for this Need, a confirmation prompt appears.

  5. Complete the Hour Details section.

  6. Answer any required Hours Questions.

  7. Click Submit Hour Entry.

Review Submitted Hours

Submitted hours appear in: My Agency > Stats > Hours

You may need to adjust the selected date range to view recent entries.
