❖ Heads up! This article is only intended for Agency Managers. Some sites have the Legacy Check-in Kiosk instead of the Check-in Kiosk covered in this article.

By the end of this article, you’ll be able to:

  • Launch the Check-in Kiosk from your Agency Manager dashboard

  • Share the kiosk launch link safely with others

  • Understand how volunteers check in and out

Launching the kiosk

  1. Log in to your Agency Manager account.

  2. Click Check-In, then select Check-In Kiosk.

  3. Use the Show Needs From dropdown to choose which Agency(s) to display.

    • To show all Needs, select All Agencies.

  4. Click Build Kiosk.

  5. Click Log Out & Launch Kiosk.

    • You can also click Copy Kiosk Launch Link to share with other trusted Agency Managers.

    • Launching the kiosk logs you out of your account.

❗The Kiosk Launch Link expires daily. Generate a new link each day you need to share it.

The Volunteer Perspective

Once launched, the kiosk displays today’s Needs only. Volunteers can:

  • Check in for shifts they’ve already signed up for

  • Sign up and check in for available shifts

  • Create an account and check in—all in one place

Volunteers Who Responded to a Need with a Shift

  1. Select the Need from the kiosk list.

  2. Find their name and click This is me.

  3. Click Check in now to finish.

Volunteers Who Haven't Responded to a Need with a Shift

  1. Select the Need from the kiosk list.

  2. Click Sign up.

  3. Enter a valid email address and click Sign up & Check in.

  4. If the volunteer already has an account, click This is me to confirm.

  5. If they don’t have an account, enter First and Last name and click Create account.

  6. Once confirmed or created, click This is me > Check in now.

Volunteer Checkout

  1. Select the Need from the kiosk list.

  2. Click Check out next to their name.

  3. Click Check out now to finish.

    • Their hours are automatically recorded after checkout.

The Check-in Kiosk FAQ

Here are some commonly asked questions and answers about the kiosk:

Q. Why don't I see my Needs in the kiosk?

A. This can happen for a few reasons:

  • The kiosk only displays Needs for the day it is launched.

  • It only shows Needs from the Agencies selected when the kiosk is launched.

Needs with Flexible or Is Ongoing duration types will appear each time the kiosk is launched.
