Overview
The Check-In Kiosk lets volunteers quickly check in and out for scheduled Needs at your site. You’ll need a dedicated device (such as a tablet or laptop) to launch the kiosk at the volunteer location.
The kiosk is available for any Need that has a set number of hours assigned to it.
Launching the Legacy Check-in Kiosk
Only Agency Managers and Site Managers can launch the kiosk. Once launched, you’ll be logged out of your account to prevent volunteers from accessing management tools.
To launch the kiosk:
This logs you out and opens the kiosk for volunteer use.
You’ll typically only see your Agency’s Needs. However, if your Site Manager has enabled the setting to show all Needs, other Agencies’ Needs may also appear.
Volunteer Check-In Process
Volunteers can check in or out using the kiosk in two ways:
I Have an Account: For returning users already registered on your site.
Create an Account: For new users who need to register before checking in.
Registered Users

Select how they want to look up their account (mobile number, email address, or name).
Enter the required information in the search field.
Verify their account information when prompted.
Once verified, click Check In to start the check-in process.
Note: Needs only appear in the Check-In Kiosk if:
They have hours associated with them.

If a Need requires a qualification, they must complete and have it approved before proceeding.
If the qualification includes a waiver, volunteers can e-sign it directly in the kiosk.
They’ll enter their birthday to ensure they’re directed to the correct waiver (adult or minor).
Once the waiver is approved, the View Details button becomes available.
From there, they can complete the response and check-in process.
New Users
If the volunteer doesn’t already have an account, they can register for one directly in the kiosk.
Click Create Your Account.
Complete the registration form.
View the list of available Needs.
If a Need has a required qualification, it must be completed and approved outside the kiosk before they can respond and check in.
If the Need includes a waiver, they can e-sign it directly in the kiosk.
Enter their birthday (if required) to be directed to the correct waiver (adult or minor).
Once the waiver is approved, they can respond and check in for the Need.
