❖ Heads up! This article is intended for Site Managers.
Add visual appeal to your site with the Rotator Images tool. This feature lets you showcase important announcements, upcoming events, or volunteer highlights. These images appear in an image carousel—similar to a slideshow that site visitors can click through. While you can add as many images as you'd like, we recommend keeping it within 12 images to ensure the most important information isn't buried in the slideshow.
Rotator Images Requirements
Images must be a .png or .jpg and 1000 x 600px in size.
Adding Rotator Images
Go to Settings > Rotator Images.
Click Upload Image, select the image file, and click Open.
Select Add New Image.
Your image now appears on the main dashboard of your site.
Adding Links to Rotator Images
You can make your Rotator Images clickable by adding a link to them. This can be done when you upload the image or later by editing the image.
If adding a link during upload, simply copy and paste the URL in the Target URL field before clicking Add New Image.
If adding a link to an existing image:
Click Edit under the Target URL column for that image.
Copy and paste the target URL in the empty field.
Click Update to save your changes.
Editing Rotator Images
You can always remove, re-order, or edit the image URLs. If you have a lot of events, Needs, or Opportunities, you may need to update this frequently, since the Rotator Images are on the main dashboard when a volunteer logs into your site.
Remoting Rotator Images
1. Go to Settings > Rotator Images.
2. Click the (X) under Delete beside the image you wish to remove.
Reordering Rotator Images
1. Click and drag the three lines to the left of each image.
2. You can reorder them by clicking and dragging them to wherever you want them in the slideshow lineup.
