What Are Language Overrides?
Your site may use different terms—such as Opportunities, Programs, or Agencies. If you’d like to align this language with your organization’s culture or volunteer management style, you can request a language override.
Language overrides allow you to adjust specific words and phrases across your site. These updates are applied site-wide, helping ensure a consistent experience for all users.
Note: Language overrides are not translated for sites using the French translation option.

Type “speak to a human agent.”
Agents typically reply within 1–4 business hours.
You can request overrides for the following terms:
While language overrides are a powerful tool for customization, they are limited to individual terms and cannot reliably modify entire phrases or sentences.
