While volunteers can request a password reset from the login screen, you may be asked to help update passwords. You can update an individual password from the User Profile or update multiple user passwords in bulk with the User Filter.

Update an Individual Password

  1. Go to Volunteerism > Users.

  2. Select the user.

  3. Under Basic Info, enter the password in the New Password and Repeat New Password fields.

  4. Click Update Password to save your changes.

  5. Be sure to note the password so you can share it with the user and inform them to update their password once they log back into the site.

Password Requirements

Passwords are case-sensitive and must be at least eight characters, including letters, numbers, and symbols. They cannot include spaces.

Reset Passwords in Bulk

If you need to reset passwords for multiple users in bulk, you can with the User Filter.

  1. Go to Volunteerism > Users.

  2. Click User Filter and apply as many filters as needed to narrow the search to the accounts you want to reset passwords for.

    • If you don't filter the list before applying the bulk action to reset passwords, it will reset passwords for all of your listed users.

  3. Once you have filtered the list, use the Select an Action dropdown to select Send Password Reset.

  4. Click Send Password Reset.
