If you need to send a password reset notification to a user who is locked out of their account or forgot their password, then:

  1. Go to Volunteerism > Users.

  2. Select the user.

  3. Click Send Password Reset Email on the user's profile card.

  4. This triggers the reset password notification that is sent to the user. They'll follow the steps in the email to reset their password.

Password Requirements

Passwords are case-sensitive and must be at least 8 characters in length. They must also include an upper and lower case letter, a number, and a special character.

Reset Passwords in Bulk

If you need to reset passwords for multiple users in bulk, you can with the User Filter.

  1. Go to Volunteerism > Users.

  2. Click User Filter and apply as many filters as needed to narrow the search to the accounts you want to reset passwords for. If you don't filter the list before applying the bulk action to reset passwords, it will reset passwords for all of your listed users.

  3. Once you have filtered the list, use the Select an Action dropdown to select Send Password Reset.

  4. Click Send Password Reset.
