❖ Heads up! This article is only intended for Sustain Site Managers.
Use Prerequisites to ensure volunteers meet specific requirements before responding to an Opportunity. These can include reviewing materials, answering questions, or confirming licenses. We recommend using Prerequisites to:
Share training or policy documents
Ask qualifying questions
Require proof of certification
For simple acknowledgments (like agreeing to a policy), use a clickwrap-waiver instead. It’s a PDF that volunteers confirm they’ve read—no signature needed.
Prerequisites only apply to Opportunities, not to user accounts.
Creating Prerequisites
Go to Volunteerism > Prerequisites.
Click Add New Prerequisite.
Fill out the Create Prerequisite page.
Click Create Prerequisite to finish.
