  • Identify which reports are available to Site Managers

  • Understand what each report measures

  • Locate reports by the category where they appear in your site

This article covers Standard Reports and Data Explorers. Every site is different. You may not see every report listed here.

Standard Reports

Standard Reports update instantly and are grouped by category in your Reports area.

Needs/Opportunities

Use these reports to track engagement, shifts, hours, and overall Opportunity performance.

Report Title

Description

Attendance Report

See who attended specific shifts and any hours submitted.

Need/Opportunity Metrics

Compare engagement levels to determine which Opportunities are performing well.

Volunteer Hours Logged

View which volunteers responded and the hours they submitted.

  • The Source column shows how and by whom hours were submitted.

Details of Individual Hours

View hours submitted that are not associated with a specific Need/Opportunity.

Needs/Opportunities Summary

See total interaction within a selected month.

Needs/Opportunities Added

View Opportunities added within a selected date range.

Needs/Opportunities Viewed

Review view counts to identify Opportunities that may need promotion.

Need/Opportunity Responses by Initiative

View all responses within a specific Initiative.

Initiative Summary

See total responses and unique users per Initiative.

Today's Shifts

Review filled shifts, open shifts, responders, and available volunteers.

Shift Attendance

View detailed shift responses and hours submitted.

Volunteer Hours Summary

See volunteer names, emails, and total hours contributed.

Hours by User Group

Compare hours contributed by user groups.

FEMA: Volunteer Data for Reimbursement

Capture disaster-related volunteer data for FEMA reimbursement.

Virtual Opportunities

Review engagement and hours for Virtual Opportunities.

Identify common email domains not assigned to user groups.

Name Tags/Badges for Printing

Export volunteer data for badge printing.

Hours by Favorite Agency/Program

Used for Dollars for Doers (if enabled).

New Users Added

Identify days with the highest signups.

Users by Zip Code

View volunteer geographic distribution.

Time From Registration to Response

Measure how quickly volunteers respond after signing up.

Response timing categories include:

  • 0 days (same day)

  • 1–7 days

  • 8–14 days

  • 15–30 days

  • 31–60 days

  • 61–90 days

  • 91–180 days

  • 181–365 days

Note: Includes deleted users and responses.

Repeat Volunteerism Totals

View total repeat responses.

Repeat Volunteerism User List

See volunteers with multiple responses.

User Group Summary

Compare engagement across user groups.

User Prerequisite/Qualification Summary

View counts of active, pending, or expired qualifications.

Volunteer Missed Connections

See volunteers who received and clicked missed connection notifications.

This notification asks volunteers if they've heard from the organization, 7 days after they responded to a Flexible or Ongoing Need.

Use these reports to monitor partner organization activity.

See which Programs triggered missed connection notifications.

This notification asks volunteers if they've heard from the organization, 7 days after they responded to a Flexible or Ongoing Need.

AEM (Legacy Advanced Events Module)

Only available if AEM is enabled.

Compare advanced event performance.

Events

Not all sites include Events.

Events RSVP
Review Yes / No / Maybe RSVP counts.

Connection Reports

Availability depends on site connections. Use these reports to evaluate performance across connected portals.

Report Title

Description

Donations by User

View all donations made by users across sites connected to yours. Includes donor details, donation amount, and the domain where the donation was made.

Donations by Domain

Compare total donation activity by connected site domain. Use this report to see which partner sites generate the most donations.

Program by Domain

Review how your Programs perform across connected sites. Includes engagement and response data by domain.

Opportunities by Domain

Analyze Opportunity performance across connected portals. Identify where your Opportunities receive the most visibility and responses.

Opportunity Report

View detailed performance data for Opportunities within specific portals. Use this report to evaluate portal-level engagement.

Users by Domain

See user activity across connected domains. Identify where users are most engaged.

User Report

Review user activity within specific portals. Includes actions such as Opportunity responses and selected Interests.

Event Report

Analyze Event performance within connected portals. Includes engagement and RSVP data.

Program Report

Evaluate how specific Programs perform across connected portals. Use this report to compare engagement by domain.

Community Impact Area

View Community Impact Area performance across all connected sites. Use this report to measure impact trends by domain.

Events by Domain

Review Event engagement and activity by connected domain. Compare performance across portals.

External CRM Reports

Designed for exporting data into external CRMs (e.g., Blackbaud products). These reports format your site data for CRM imports.

Constituent Import Data

Exports user profile data formatted for Blackbaud import.

  • Import ID: Connect ID

  • Constituent ID: External ID

Constituent Address Import Data

Exports user address information for CRM import.

  • Import ID: Connect ID

Constituent Organization Import Data

Exports company and organization data associated with users.

  • Import ID: Connect ID

  • Constituent ID: Reference ID

Constituent Code Import Data

Exports all users for import as Volunteers in Blackbaud.

  • Import ID: Connect ID

  • Constituent ID: Reference ID

Time Sheet Import Data

Exports volunteer hours data for CRM time entry import.

Includes:

  • User Connect ID (Constituent Import ID)

  • Hour ID (Time Sheet Import ID)

  • Opportunity ID (Job Import ID)

  • Program (Department)

  • Opportunity address (Location)

All hours are labeled:

  • Volunteer Type: Individual

  • Category: Program ID

Job Import Data

Exports all Opportunities for CRM job import.

Includes:

  • Job Import ID: Opportunity ID

  • Job Category: Program Name

  • Volunteer Type: Individual

  • Completed status based on Opportunity end date

Constituents Data

Exports active users formatted for eTapestry import.

  • Account Numbers: External ID

Recommendation: Add the Volunteer Field Set in your CRM before import.

Hours Data

Exports approved volunteer hours for import as a Volunteer Journal entry in eTapestry.

Includes:

  • Account Numbers: External ID

  • Project and Subject: Opportunity Title

  • Location: Opportunity Address

Recommendation: Add the Volunteer Field Set in your CRM before import.

Activity Reports

Track site-wide engagement trends.

Available only if connected to a Shift site.

Overview of volunteerism and impact by month.

Quarterly Activity

Quarter-level data.

Shift Volunteer Hours

Review logged hours.

Shift Connection Report

View referred volunteers, responses, and hours.

Definitions:

  • Referred volunteer: Created an account on a connected Shift site after discovering it through your site.

  • Referred responses: Responses submitted by referred volunteers.

  • Referred hours: Hours logged by referred volunteers.

Data Explorers

Data Explorers update overnight and allow deeper analysis (up to one year at a time).

Agencies/Programs

Analyze Program activity and performance trends.

Needs/Opportunities

Review Opportunity performance and engagement metrics.

Users

Evaluate volunteer activity and profile data.

Responses

Review detailed response-level data, including Program association and status.

Hours

Analyze submitted volunteer hours.

Fans

Available on Center sites. Review volunteers who have fanned Agencies.

Donations

Analyze donor information and donation status.

Events

Review event details and RSVP counts. Not all sites have Events enabled.

RSVPs

View individual event RSVP submissions. Not all sites have Events enabled.
