View Who Is Checked In
You can review which volunteers are currently checked in from the Hours area of your site. This is useful when you need a clear list of volunteers who are checked in, along with the Need or Opportunity they are associated with.
Access the Checked In Now List
Go to Volunteerism > Hours.
Click the Checked In Now tab.
A list of all volunteers who are currently checked in is displayed.
Volunteers may appear on this list if they checked in through:
The mobile app
The Check-In Kiosk
A manager or facilitator manually checking them in
Check Volunteers Out
If volunteers checked in through the Check-In Kiosk, they can also use it to check out. However, volunteers may forget to check out or need to leave early. In these cases, you can manually check them out.
Manually Check Out a Volunteer
Go to Volunteerism > Hours.
Select the Checked In Now tab.
In the Check-Out column, open the dropdown menu next to the volunteer.
Select how you want to check them out.
Choose the correct time, then click Check Out.
Additional Ways Volunteers Can Be Checked Out
Volunteers can check themselves out using the app or website.
Volunteers can check out through the Check-In Kiosk.
Another manager or facilitator can check them out manually.
If a volunteer does not check out by the end of their shift, the system will automatically check them out at midnight on that day. If a volunteer left early, be sure to check them out manually using a custom time to ensure accurate hour reporting.

Q. Why is a volunteer still showing as checked in?
A. They may have forgotten to check out. You can manually update their checkout time.
Q. Can I edit the checkout time later?
A. Yes. You can edit a volunteer's hours from the Hours area to ensure accuracy.
Q. Will volunteers be notified when I check them out manually?
A. No. Manual check-outs do not trigger notifications.
