❖ Heads up! This article is only intended for Site Managers.

You can review who is currently checked in from the Hours area of your site. This is great for when you want to see a list of who is checked in and for which Need or Opportunity.

The Checked In Now List

To access the Checked In Now list:

  1. Go to Volunteerism > Hours.

  2. Click the Checked In Now tab.

  3. A list of currently checked-in volunteers is displayed.

Volunteers on this list may have checked in to the Need or Opportunity a few different ways, including the app, the kiosk, or another manager or facilitator checked them in.

Checking Volunteers Out

If volunteers use the Check-In Kiosk to check in for a Need or Opportunity, then they can also use it to check out. But sometimes volunteers forget to check out, or something came up and they had to leave early. You can manually check those volunteers out as needed!

  1. Go to Volunteerism > Hours.

  2. Click the Checked In Now tab.

  3. Under the Check-Out column, use the dropdown menu to select how you want to check the volunteer out.

  4. Select the time and click Check Out when finished.

Volunteers can also be checked out in the following ways:

  • They can check themselves out the same way they checked in with the app or on the site

  • They can check themselves out through the Check-In Kiosk

  • Another manager or facilitator can check them out manually

If a volunteer doesn't check out at the end of their shift, the system automatically checks them out at midnight on the day their shift is scheduled. If they left early, you'll want to manually check them out with a custom time for accurate hour reporting.
