Getting Started
Responses can be managed from the My Board area.
1. Go to My Board.
2. Click Manage or [#] application under the Responses column for the responses you wish to review.
3. Select the action you wish to take on the response:
Details: Click Details if you wish to respond to the candidate.
Notes: Click Notes to add internal comments for other organizational representatives reviewing the response. Once you’ve finished drafting, be sure to click Add Note to save. Notes are visible to other group members, who can also contribute, but candidates will not have access to these notes.
Edit: Click Edit to internally update the status of the response and evaluate the candidate's fit. You can select from six status options: New, Responded Back, Offer Extended, Accepted, Rejected, and Archived.
Responding to an Offer
If you want to respond to a candidate who's shown interest:
1. Go to My Board.
2. Select Manage under Responses.
3. Click Respond to Offer.
4. Fill out the form. This includes a Private Information area where you may wish to enter information that is only shared with other nonprofit members.
The private information section on the form lets the nonprofit enter information only the nonprofit members can see. You can change the update status to Responded, Accepted, or Declined. You can also rate the fit of the individual for the position.
The candidate never sees the rating you give.
5. Complete the Message to Candidate field on the form.
Enter a message to send to the candidate.
The contact email is automatically filled in, but you can modify it as necessary.
You also have the option to share a good phone number for the candidate to call.
You can see the message from the candidate and the position they're interested in from the Candidate Sent Information section of the form.
How to Check the Progress of Responses to an Open Position
If you wish to check the progress of responses to an open position:
1. Go to My Board.
2. Select Manage or [#] application under Responses.
3. Click Notes to see any added notes and any updated statuses.
