❖ Heads up! This article is intended for Site Managers. Only Site Managers have access to this report.

The Volunteer Hours Logged report in your Reports section shows who is submitting hours and how they are logged. The Source column details the method of logging and the user responsible.

ℹ️ So you know: Some sites have language overrides. This means you might see Needs instead of Opportunities or Agencies instead of Programs.

Additionally, the site provides various reporting tools to analyze volunteer data. These tools allow Site Managers to track participation trends, measure engagement, and evaluate impact through customizable options.

  1. Click Reports from the top menu bar.

  2. Go to Standard Reports > Needs or Opportunities.

  3. Select Volunteer Hours Logged.

  4. This opens up the Volunteer Hours Logged report for you to review!

Using the User Data Explorer for Tracking Participation

To see how many volunteers participated in Opportunities during a specific timeframe:

  1. Navigate to Reports > Data Explorers > Users.

  2. Set your desired start and end dates for the report (e.g., a calendar year).

  3. Generate the report to view volunteers active within that period, regardless of their registration date.

This tool offers flexible filtering to analyze participation trends and engagement metrics tailored to your program needs.

If Volunteer Check-in was used:

  • “Added at” shows check-in time

  • “Updated at” shows check-out time

If Check-in wasn’t used:

  • “Added at” reflects when the volunteer logged their hours

  • “Updated at” indicates when an Agency Manager approved those hours

The report also displays the check-in/check-out method and the account responsible for the action.

Tips for Report Customization

  • Use filters to focus on specific groups, teams, or activity types.

  • Regularly update your reporting settings to align with evolving program goals.

  • If you encounter issues accessing a tool or need further information, consult the in-app help section or contact the support team.
