❖ Heads up! This article is only intended for Amplify Site Managers.

By the end of this article, you will be able to:

  • Update the sender name and email address for outgoing messages.

  • Verify a new “from” email address through AWS.

  • Disable or re-enable site email delivery.

Overview

Manage your site’s email settings under Settings > Main Settings > Emails. This section lets you update the Email From Name and Email From Address, as well as toggle email delivery on or off.

Update your Email From Name

  1. Go to Settings > Main Settings > Emails.

  2. Enter the desired sender name in the Email From Name field.

    • This can be an individual’s name, a department, or your organization’s name.

  3. Click Update Email Settings to save your changes.

Update your Email From Address

We recommend using the default no-reply@galaxydigital.com address, since custom addresses are more likely to be marked as spam.

If you choose to use your own address, you’ll need to verify it through Amazon Web Services (AWS) before it can be used for email blasts.

To verify a new email address:

  1. Go to Settings > Main Settings > Emails.

  2. Enter the new address in the Email From Address field.

  3. Click if this email address needs to be verified.

  4. Re-enter the email if prompted, then click Submit.

  5. Follow the instructions in the verification email from AWS to complete setup.

  6. Once verified, return to your site settings to select the new email as your sender.

  7. Click Update Email Settings to save your changes.

Verifying an address only adds it to your available sender options — you’ll still need to manually select it in your site settings afterward.

Missing AWS verification email

If you didn’t receive the verification message from AWS:

  1. Add no-reply-aws@amazon.com to your email contact list to prevent spam filtering.

  2. Go to Settings > Main Settings > Emails > Email From Address and click Click if this email address needs to be verified again.

  3. Enter the email address and click Submit.

  4. Wait a few minutes, then search your inbox for:

    • Subject: “Amazon Web Services - Email Address Verification Request in region US East (N. Virginia)”

  5. Open the email and follow the link to complete verification.

To confirm verification:

  • Go to Communication > Email Blast and open the Select From Address dropdown.

  • Your verified email should now appear as an option.

Disable Email Delivery

You can temporarily stop all outgoing site emails and notifications, except for password resets.

To disable emails:

  • Go to Settings > Main Settings > Emails.

  • Turn Disable Email Delivery to On.

  • Click Update Email Settings to save your changes.

To re-enable emails:

  • Turn the setting Off and click Update Email Settings again.

Password reset emails are always sent, even when email delivery is disabled.
