Users: Qualifications—Amplify Sites

Information for Amplify Site Managers about the Qualifications tab on a user's profile

❖ Heads up! This article is only intended for Amplify Site Managers.

By the end of this article, you will be able to:

  • Review an individual user's Qualifications

  • Update user statuses when necessary

  • Understand each Qualification status type

Reviewing Qualifications

  1. Go to Volunteerism > Users.

  2. Select the user you want to review.

  3. Click the Qualifications tab.

  4. Check the Complete Qualifications section for finished submissions.

  5. Check the Incomplete Qualifications section for submissions still in progress.

Resolving "Not Qualified" User Statuses

If a user is marked Not Qualified but has completed the required training or conditions, update their status:

  1. Go to Users > User Filter.

  2. Apply filters, for example:

    • Volunteer > Qualifications > has been declined for > [specific qualification]

  3. Review the filtered list and select a user.

  4. Open their Qualifications tab.

  5. Change the status from Not Qualified to Qualified.

Updating User Qualification Statuses

Updating a user’s Qualification status restores access to relevant volunteer opportunities.

  1. Find the completed Qualification under Complete Qualifications.

  2. Select the new status from the Status dropdown.

  3. Click Okay to save changes.

Qualification Statuses

Status

Description

Qualified

User submission is approved; the user is qualified.

Pending

Submission is awaiting review.

Re-submit

The user must resubmit their Qualification—Useful if the documentation is incorrect or incomplete.

Expired

Submission has expired.

Not Qualified

Submission was not approved.

Inactive

Submission is inactive.

FAQ

Q. How do I know if a user can access opportunities after updating their Qualification?
A. Once a Qualification is updated to Qualified, the user automatically gains access to the relevant volunteer opportunities.

Q. Can I change a Qualification back to Not Qualified?
A. Yes. Use the Status dropdown in the user’s Qualifications tab to update the status as needed.

Q. What if a user submitted the wrong documentation?
A. Set their status to Re-submit so they can provide the correct documentation.
