  • Understand what each section of your dashboard and menus does

  • Navigate between Manager and Volunteer views

Overview

As a Site Manager, you’re responsible for maintaining your site’s setup, branding, and user management. This includes configuring site settings, overseeing Programs and Opportunities, and supporting volunteer engagement.

Each site is configured differently based on your organization’s setup.

The Utility Bar

When you log into your Site Manager account, you’ll see the utility bar at the top of your screen. This is your main control center for managing site settings, viewing reports, and accessing profile tools.

Description

View Site

View your site as a volunteer. Click Manager to return.

Settings

Configure branding, approval processes, and other site settings.

Check-in Kiosk

Launch the Check-in Kiosk so volunteers can check in or out for an Opportunity.

*This is only available on sites with the latest check-in kiosk. If you do not see this button, you may have the legacy version of the kiosk.

Reports

Access performance data for your site, Programs, Opportunities, users, and more.

Alerts

Stay informed about planned outages, maintenance, and holiday closures.

Profile

Click your profile image or initials to manage your profile or log out.

Help

Visit the Help Center for support and helpful resources.

View Site Utility Bar

When a Site Manager clicks View Site, they're taken to the front end to view the site from the user's perspective. The utility bar options change, too. They can always click the Manager button to return to their Site Manager dashboard.

This is only available when you have included a link to your website from your site settings. Settings > Main Settings > Site Information > Organization Website.

Manager

Click to return to the Site Manager dashboard.

Calendar

Review current and upcoming volunteer Opportunities.

Messages

Go to your inbox for important notifications about pending items and more!

The Side Menu Navigation

The side menu lets you manage Opportunities, Programs, email blasts, and site content. It's organized into sections like Volunteerism and Communication. Click a section to expand its tools.

Section

Description

Volunteerism

Manage Programs, registration Tracks, volunteer hours, Opportunities, and more.

Communication

Use tools like email blasts, message stats, automated notifications, app messages, and texts (if enabled).

Content

Add and manage blog posts, Custom Pages, files, images, and Impact Pages (if enabled).

Modules

Access additional features, like Surveys, and other enabled modules (The Modules area is only available if additional modules are enabled).

The Dashboard

Customize your Site Manager dashboard to view key data at a glance when you log in. Depending on your setup, you may see tables and graphs showing Program performance, volunteer activity, and other important metrics.
