A guide for Sustain Site Managers about managing images with Rotator Images

❖ Heads up! This article is only intended for Sustain Site Managers.

By the end of this article, Site Managers will be able to:

  • Add, edit, and remove Rotator Images on their site.

  • Make Rotator Images clickable with target URLs.

  • Reorder images to highlight important announcements or volunteer opportunities.

Rotator Images Requirements

  • File type: .png or .jpg

  • Size: 1000 x 600px

  • Maximum: 12 images

Adding Rotator Images

  1. Go to Settings > Rotator Images.

  2. Click Upload Image, select the image file, and click Open.

  3. Select Add New Image.

  4. Your image now appears on the main dashboard of your site.

Add Link to New Rotator Image

You can make Rotator Images clickable by adding a link, either when uploading or by editing later. To add a link during upload, paste the desired URL into the Target URL field before selecting Add New Image.

Add Link to Existing Rotator Image

  1. Click Edit under the Target URL column for that image.

  2. Copy and paste the target URL into the empty field.

  3. Click Update to save your changes.

Editing Rotator Images

You can remove, reorder, or update image URLs at any time. If you regularly promote opportunities, be sure to keep these images current. Rotator Images appear front and center on your volunteer dashboard.

Removing Rotator Images

  1. Go to Settings > Rotator Images.

  2. Click the (X) under Delete beside the image you wish to remove.

Reordering Rotator Images

  1. Click and drag the three lines to the left of each image.

  2. You can reorder them by clicking and dragging them to wherever you want them in the slideshow lineup.

FAQ

Q: How many images can I add?
A: There isn't a limit to how many you can upload, but for the best results, we recommend no more than 12 images.

Q: Can I make an image clickable?
A: Yes! You can add a target URL when uploading or editing an existing image to add a link.

Q: Can I change the order of images?
A: Yes! Drag the three-line handle next to each image to reorder them.

Q: What image size should I use?
A: 1000 x 600px, in .png or .jpg format.
