How Amplify Site Managers manage their Time Zone settings

By the end of this article, you will be able to:

  • Set the default time zone for your site’s check-in kiosk.

  • Display or hide time zone abbreviations on Opportunities, Shifts, and Events.

  • Save and update your time zone settings at any time.

Setting the Default Time Zone for the Check-in Kiosk

This setting determines which time zone displays when the check-in kiosk is launched.

  1. Go to Settings > Main Settings > Time Zone.

  2. Use the dropdown menu to select your time zone.

  3. Click Update Time Zone Settings to save your changes.

Adding a Time Zone Abbreviation

You can choose to display a time zone abbreviation (e.g., EST, CST, PST) on your site’s Opportunities, Shifts, and Events.

  1. Go to Settings > Main Settings > Time Zone.

  2. Toggle Display time zone to On to show the abbreviation.

    • To hide it later, return to this setting and toggle it Off.

  3. Click Update Time Zone Settings to save.

Q. Where does the time zone abbreviation appear?
A. The abbreviation displays next to the time listed on your Opportunities, Shifts, and Events when enabled.

Q. Does this setting affect email notifications?
A. The displayed times in system-generated emails follow your site’s set time zone.
