β Heads up! This article is only intended for Site Managers managing site connections with Galaxy Link.
By the end of this article, you will be able to:

Distinguish between site-originated and shared data.
Understand how shared content appears to Site Managers and volunteers.
How to Recognize Shared Content
Data shared through Galaxy Link connections has visual indicators to help you differentiate it from content created on your own site. Shared data often appears as highlighted segments in tables or read-only content in profiles.
Needs or Opportunities
Needs/Opportunities are highlighted in blue when you navigate to Volunteerism > Needs/Opportunities from the Site Manager dashboard.
This means when you click on the Need/Opportunity, you can review the profile and details in a read-only format.
Volunteers can also see the name of the originating site when they navigate to the Needs/Opportunities area from their dashboard.
Agencies or Programs
Agencies/Programs are highlighted in blue when you navigate to Volunteerism > Agencies/Programs from the Site Manager dashboard.
This means when you click on the Agency/Profile, you can review the profile and details in a read-only format.
Shared Agencies/Programs appear alongside those posted by the site.
