Users: Needs—Center Sites

Information for Center Site Managers about the Needs tab on a user's profile

By the end of this article, you'll be able to:

  • Review a user's Need response history

  • Cancel an active Need response

  • Add volunteer hours to an existing Need response

  • Schedule a user for a Need

View and Manage a User's Need Responses

View Need Response History

  1. Go to Volunteerism > Users and select a user from the table.

  2. Click Needs.

  3. Review their Need Response history.

Cancel a Need Response from the User's Profile

To cancel a Need Response from a user's profile:

  1. Go to Volunterism > Users and search for or select the user from the table.

  2. Click Needs.

  3. Find the response you wish to cancel in the Need Responses table and click the X under the Options column.

  4. Optional: Select a reason for the cancellation.

  5. Optional: Include a personalized message for the volunteer.

  6. Click Cancel Response to confirm the cancellation.

Add Volunteer Hours to an Existing Need Response

  1. Go to Volunterism > Users and search for or select the user from the table.

  2. Click Needs.

  3. Find the response in the Need Responses table and click the hourglass under the Options column.

  4. Review details and click Submit Hour Entry to finish.

Schedule User

To schedule a user from the Needs tab of the user's profile:

  1. Go to Volunterism > Users and search for or select the user from the table.

  2. Click Needs.

  3. Click Schedule and select a Need from the dropdown.

  4. Select the shift(s) and click Continue.

  5. Review and click Add to List.

  6. Optional: Add more volunteers.

  7. Optional: Send a confirmation message to the scheduled volunteer(s).

  8. Click Schedule [#] volunteers to finish.

    1. If there are any conflicts, for example, a missing response to a required initiative question, then a pop-up appears asking you to confirm or cancel.
