  • Understand how Collective Impact Days appear in Volunteer Link for corporate volunteers

  • Add individual Needs or entire Initiatives to a Collective Impact Day

What Are Collective Impact Days?

Collective Impact Days are nationally recognized days of service that encourage people and organizations to volunteer around a shared theme or moment in time.

Examples include:

  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service

  • Earth Day

  • National Day of Service and Remembrance

These days help focus volunteer energy around specific causes and create a sense of shared community impact

Collective Impact Days On Volunteer Link

On Volunteer Link:

  • Corporate volunteers can filter and search Needs by Collective Impact Days.

  • This makes your Needs easier to discover for volunteers who specifically want to serve on these recognized days.

  • Adding your Needs to a Collective Impact Day can increase visibility, interest, and participation from corporate volunteers.

How To Add A Collective Impact Day

Agency Managers can add Needs to Collective Impact Days directly within the Need form.

You can add:

  • An individual Need to a Collective Impact Day, or

  • All Needs within an Initiative to a Collective Impact Day at once.

When a Need is added to a Collective Impact Day:

  • It becomes searchable and filterable by that day in Volunteer Link.

  • Corporate volunteers browsing Volunteer Link for that day can find your opportunity more easily.
