Heads up! This article is only intended for Center Site Agency Managers who have shared their Needs with Volunteer Link.

By the end of this article, you will be able to:

  • Understand what the Interested Volunteer List is and why it exists

  • Locate the Interested Volunteer List in the Agency Manager dashboard

  • Know how the Interested Volunteers List relates to Volunteer Link

What is the Interested Volunteer List?

The Interested Volunteer List is a way for sites to begin collecting volunteer interest before a live volunteer opportunity is posted.

Instead of waiting until a Need is fully ready to launch, Agency Managers can create a Need that allows volunteers to say, β€œI’m interested.” These volunteers are added to the Interested Volunteer List, which managers can later use for scheduling once the Need goes live.

In short, the Interested Volunteer List helps you:

  • Gauge interest in advance

  • Build a pool of engaged volunteers

  • Stay organized before official opportunities are published

Where to Find the Interested Volunteer List

The Interested Volunteer List is located in the Needs area of the Agency Manager dashboard.

To find them:
