Q. Who is Galaxy Digital?

A. Galaxy Digital is a leading volunteer technology company best known for its Get Connected platform.

Get Connected powers a network serving more than 400 volunteer centers and connects over 60,000 nonprofits with volunteers.

Q. Why did Better Impact acquire Galaxy Digital? How does this make things better?

A. Better Impact has acquired Galaxy Digital, creators of Get Connected volunteer technology, because both organizations share a commitment to strengthening communities through volunteer engagement.

By bringing our teams, technology, and expertise together, we:

  • Increase long-term stability and sustainability

Q. Will my pricing or subscription cost change?

A. No immediate pricing changes are planned as a result of this acquisition.

  • Your current contract and pricing remain in effect

  • Subscription terms are unchanged

Q. Will my software go away or change?

A. No. Your current system will continue to function as it does today.

Over time, this opportunity allows us to develop and deploy new features, functions, and tools more consistently. Any future enhancements will be thoughtfully introduced and clearly communicated.

Q. Will my software experience change? Will my volunteers’ software experience change?

A. There are no immediate changes to your experience or your volunteers’ experience. This acquisition will not affect:

  • Login processes

  • Volunteer experiences

  • Administrative workflows

Long-term, our combined resources position us to enhance the overall experience in meaningful and thoughtful ways.

Q. Will there be immediate impacts on my volunteers or support managers? What should I tell them?

A. There are no immediate changes for volunteers or support managers (like Agency Managers, Program Managers, or Program Facilitators). They will continue using the software exactly as it is currently configured for your organization.

You may choose to tell them:

"Our volunteer management software provider has expanded through the acquisition of a peer technology provider. There are no changes to how you log in, schedule, or interact with the system."

No action is required on their part.

Q. As a Site Manager, will anything change in my day-to-day operations?

A. No. There are no immediate operational changes.
