What Is the Global Profile?
Your Global Profile is your all-in-one volunteer account!
Instead of keeping track of multiple usernames and passwords, you can now sign in once to access all the volunteer sites where you have an account.
From your Global Profile Dashboard, you can:
Access every volunteer site you belong to
Update your global password and profile information
Manage your connected site profiles independently
How to Sign Up for a Global Profile
If this is your first time volunteering on a Get Connected site, follow these steps to create your Global Profile:
Navigate to any participating volunteer site.
Click Sign Up in the top-right corner.
Enter your name, email, postal code, and password, and click Create account.
You'll be emailed a code to verify your email address. Copy and paste that code into the field when prompted and click Verify Email.
Complete any required registration steps for that specific site.
Once your Global Profile is created, you’ll use the same email and password to sign in to any other Get Connected site—no new accounts needed!
How to Sign In with your Global Profile
Once your Global Profile is set up, signing in is simple:
Go to any Get Connected volunteer site.
Click Sign In.
Enter the email and password you used to create your Global Profile and click Sign in. You’ll be automatically logged in to that site.
If you previously had multiple accounts on different sites before fall 2025, they’ll now be linked together automatically under your Global Profile.
Managing Your Global Profile
Your Global Profile Dashboard helps you manage your account and access your connected sites easily. Your Global Profile dashboard provides:
A snapshot of your total completed shifts, volunteer hours, and your top Cause
Details about your next scheduled shift
An Activity Feed showing your most recent volunteer activity and sites joined
Access Your Global Profile Dashboard
Go to a volunteer site you're registered on and sign in.
Click Edit Profile.
Click Update My Account to access your Global Profile dashboard.
Update Your Global Profile
From your Global Profile Dashboard, select Profile.
Update each field as applicable.
Click Save.
Change Your Global Password
From your Global Profile Dashboard, select Password.
Click Change Password.
Enter your current password, then your new one.
Click Update Password to save your changes.
Your new password will now work for all connected sites.
Access Linked Sites
From the Global Profile Dashboard, you can jump directly into any connected site.
Each site still has its own user profile and settings, i.e., changes made on one site (like your volunteer hours or site-specific questions) won’t affect your Global Profile or other sites.
From your Global Profile Dashboard, select My Sites.
Click Go to Site for the site you wish to access.
Managing Individual Site Profiles
While your Global Profile connects everything, each site keeps its own profile settings and volunteer data.
You can manage these by logging into the specific site and updating your profile there.
Sign in on the site you wish to update your profile on.
Click Edit Profile.
Changes made here are only reflected on the site you're logged into.
Quick Facts
With your Global Profile, you can sign in once to access all your volunteer sites.
You’ll still manage your individual profiles on each site separately—changes made on one site won’t update the others.
Each site may have its own requirements before you can volunteer, so make sure to complete any steps needed when joining a new site.
