What Are Clusters?
You can create special tags for categorizing items like Agencies on your site, called Clusters. Clusters add an extra layer of organization beyond Causes or Interests—making it easier for you and volunteers to find related items.
Volunteers can filter and search for Agencies by Cluster.
Creating Agency Clusters
Agency Clusters are only available on Center sites.
Go to Volunteerism > Agencies.
Select the Agency Clusters tab.
Type the new Cluster name in the Cluster Name field.
You can use letters, numbers, and spaces (no special characters).
Choose a clear, searchable name—volunteers can search by keyword.
Click Add New Cluster.
Your new Cluster is ready to use! You can always return to Volunteerism > Agencies > Agency Clusters to view which Agencies are using it.
Deleting a Cluster
To remove a Cluster:
Go to Volunteerism > Agencies > Agency Clusters.
Click the (X) under the Options column next to the Cluster name.
Once deleted, the Cluster is no longer linked to any items, and any shared links to that Cluster will stop working.
Sharing Clustered Items
To share all items under a Cluster:
Go to Volunteerism > Agencies > Agency Clusters.
Click the number under the Agencies column.
Copy the page URL and share it anywhere!
You can include Cluster links in emails, newsletters, social posts, or feature them in site spotlights or rotators.
