How to Activate Imported Agencies: Site Managers

How Site Managers can activate their imported Agencies

❖ Heads up! This article is only intended for Center Site Managers.

When Agencies are imported, they are assigned the status Imported. Neither Imported Agencies nor their associated Needs will be visible on your site until they are activated. Likewise, imported users cannot access the site until their accounts have been activated.

Getting Started

  1. Go to Volunteerism > Agencies.

  2. Select Imported from the Status dropdown.

  3. Only your imported Agencies are displayed. A banner appears with a Send Notification Now button.

  4. Check the boxes beside the Agencies you wish to activate.

    • You can select all by checking the box at the top of the column.

  5. Click Send Notification Now.

Clicking this option activates the selected Agencies on the site. The Agency Managers for those Agencies will receive an email notifying them of their assignment as an Agency Manager, along with instructions on how to log in and access their Agency Manager dashboard. The template for the notification is "Agency Imported Message".
