❖ Heads up! This article is only intended for Center Site Managers.
As the Site Manager, you oversee everything for your site from the back end—including the Agencies that register on your site. You might also want to create an Agency for your organization so you can post Needs yourself!
Approving Agencies
Depending on how you've set up your approval settings, you may have to review and approve new Agencies when they register on your site. You can always add Agencies manually as well, but to approve an Agency:
Go to Volunteerism > Agencies.
Click on the Agency Name that has a Pending status.
Under Basic Information, change their status from Pending to Active.
The agency can start posting Needs on your site once they're listed as Active!
Creating Agencies
Do you want to add an Agency to your site manually? You can from the Agencies area.
Go to Volunteerism > Agencies.
Click Add New Agency.
Fill out the required fields and all applicable fields as necessary.
Be sure to click Submit Agency when you're done.
Basic Information
Here you'll establish important information about your Agency.

Primary Manager | This is the individual you want to assign as the Agency Manager for this Agency. |
Agency Name | The name volunteers see when they visit the Agencies area of your site. |
Customize Link | Use this field to customize the end of your Agency's profile page URL. |
Hours of Operation | Use this field to list any specific hours of operation for your Agency. |
Causes | Select the Causes that align with this Program. |
Tags | Add any tags that can help categorize and filter your Agencies. |
Clusters | Clusters let you tag similar Needs so they can be grouped and shared with one link. Add Clusters to the Agency so that Agency Managers can select from those Clusters when creating Needs. |
Agency Video | You can share a link to YouTube or Vimeo to share a video about your Agency. |
EIN | Enter your EIN here, as applicable. |
Comments | Any comments added here will only be visible to Site Managers. |
Contact Information
Enter the important contact information you wish to share on the Agency profile page. This is displayed on the front end for volunteers unless you have opted to hide Agency contact information in your main Settings area.
This is also where you can assign additional notification recipients for this Agency. This means the email addresses you share here will receive the automated notifications sent to Agency Managers.
Enter each email address on separate lines, like so:
Links
If you want to display links to your social media platforms, add them under the Links area.
Location
Under the Location section, enter the address for your Agency. This pins your Agency's location on a map that is displayed on the Agency's profile page.
If you want to include any additional details, like parking or special directions, you can include those in the Additional Location Information field.
Descriptions
Here you have two fields to complete, Who We Are and What We Do. Highlight your Agency or Organization's history, mission statement, and/or goals in the Who We Are field. Share the kinds of work volunteers can expect to do and how it aligns with your mission in the What We Do section.
This is a great place to share important information about your Agency or organization and to showcase how volunteering with your Agency impacts the community.
Photos
After you submit your Agency, you can return and add photos. Agency photos appear in a slideshow on the Agency profile page.
Go to Volunteerism > Agencies.
Select the Agency from the table.
Scroll to the Photos section at the bottom of the Edit Agency page.
You can either click and drag photos or select them from your computer.
To delete a photo, click it and select the trash icon beside Actions.
