❖ Heads up! This article is intended for Volunteers.

Important: Global Profile becomes available to some users on December 16, 2025, and will reach all accounts by January 2026. Features shown below may not appear in your dashboard until your update arrives.

By the end of this article, you will be able to:

  • Understand what the Global Profile is and how to use it

  • Locate and update your Global Profile information

  • Navigate the Global Profile dashboard to access hours, shifts, causes, and connected volunteer sites

What is the Global Profile?

Your Global Profile gives you one simple login you can use for every volunteer site you’re a part of. Instead of keeping up with different passwords or accounts, you’ll use the same email and password everywhere.

This makes signing in easier, faster, and more secure. Once you’re logged in, you can move between all your volunteer sites without having to sign in again.

Your Dashboard

When you open your Global Profile, you’ll see a clear, easy-to-read dashboard. This page gives you a quick look at your volunteer activity, all in one place:

  • Shifts Worked: How many volunteer shifts you've completed

  • Total Hours: The total hours you’ve volunteered

  • Top Cause: The type of cause you’ve spent the most time supporting

  • Next Scheduled Shift: Any upcoming shifts on your calendar

  • My Activity: A list of recent actions, such as joining a new volunteer site

Everything is grouped simply so you can see your progress and what’s next without searching around.

How Your Total Hours Are Counted

If your total hours look different than expected, here are a few things to keep in mind. These totals include all approved hours from every volunteer site you are part of:

  • Only hours that have been approved will show.

  • Hours that are marked as denied, inactive, or pending are not included in your total.

  • The hours must be submitted as individual hours or be connected to an active shift or response.

  • If a shift or response is deactivated, any hours tied to it will also be removed from your total.

  • Plus One Hours do not include your user ID, so they will not appear in your personal totals.

Updating Your Information

You can update your basic information right from your Global Profile, including:

  • Your name

  • Your email address

  • Your home address

  • Your profile photo

  • Your password

When you update your email, password, or profile photo here, those changes automatically carry over to every volunteer site you use. This helps keep things consistent and saves you time.

Other details that are specific to each volunteer site can still be updated directly on those sites.

Switching Between Volunteer Sites

Your Global Profile also makes it easy to jump between the volunteer sites you’re registered on. From this page, you can:

  • See all the sites connected to your account

  • Click into any site you want to visit

  • Use the same login for each site

No more juggling accounts — everything connects through this one profile.

Who Can See my Personal Infomation?

Your private information, like your name and email address, are only visible to the organizations that you sign up to work with. Your information will not be shared with anyone besides the sites where you sign up to volunteer!
