How volunteers can upload files to their profiles

By the end of this article, you will be able to:

  • Upload files to your volunteer profile

  • Access and manage files in the My Files area

  • Understand who can view and upload files

File Upload Overview

You may be asked to upload documents to your profile, such as:

  • A driver’s license

  • Certifications or licenses

  • Completed forms

You can add files to your profile at any time.

A Bit About Files

Files help you store and share important documents related to your volunteer work.

  • Files are visible to managers who have access to your profile

  • Managers with access can also upload files to your profile

  • Files help you keep track of documents you may need later

You can use the Source column to see who uploaded a file.

Description

Admin Uploaded

A Site Manager uploaded the file to your profile.

Program Manager Uploaded

An Advanced Program Manager uploaded the file to your profile.

User Uploaded

You uploaded the file.

My Files

You can access the My Files area of your profile.

  1. Click your initials or profile image from the top menu bar.

  2. Select My Files.

Here you can add files or download, review, and share the files already uploaded to your profile.

Add a File

To add a file to your profile:

  1. Click +Add File.

  2. Click Upload and find the file you want to upload or drag a file into the Drag & Drop field.

    • You can upload more than one file at a time if needed.

Download a File

Want to download a file? Just click its title!

Sharing Files

You can also share files. Click the chain link icon under the Options column to get the shareable file link.
