❖ Heads up! This article is intended for Volunteers. Are you a volunteer looking for support with your volunteer account, or have questions about a specific site? See the How to Get Help with Your Volunteer Account section of the How to Find Your Organization's Site article for more information!

By the end of this article, you will be able to:

  • Unregister from a volunteer Need or Opportunity

  • Cancel your response from the Responses area

  • Manage or remove your response from the Need or Opportunity page

Overview

If you responded to a volunteer Need or Opportunity but can no longer attend, you can cancel or unregister your response.

Unregistering removes your participation from the opportunity. If you previously submitted volunteer hours for that response, those hours will be removed when you unregister.
