A Corporate Leader Module (CLM) User Group allows companies, corporations, or organizations to organize employees into a dedicated group and provide them with tailored volunteer opportunities. This approach is particularly valuable for organizations that prioritize volunteerism and seek an efficient way to manage, monitor, and track their employees' contributions to those initiatives.
As a member of a CLM User Group, you gain access to select volunteer opportunities—also referred to as "Needs"—designed to support employee volunteer initiatives. Depending on how the site manager has configured the group, you may also have access to your group’s resume, enabling streamlined hours tracking and reporting.
ℹ️ So you know: Some sites have language overrides in place. This means you might see Needs in place of Opportunities, Agencies in place of Programs, or Prerequisites in place of Qualifications.
CLM isn't available for every site. You may not encounter this feature.
Joining a CLM User Group
There are two ways to join a CLM User Group:
You can be manually placed in the CLM User Group by a site manager or CLM User Group leader
You can receive a join link to register and join the CLM User Group
Got Questions?
Your first points of contact are the CLM User Group Leader or site manager for help with any questions you may have. They are your first line of help if you find yourself stuck at any time.
Join Questions
You may be asked specific join questions when placed in a CLM User Group. These questions help site managers or group leaders collect important data from new members when they join. These questions can be answered when you join or from your profile.
Log into your account.
Click on your profile from the top menu bar and select My User Groups.
Find the CLM user group in the table and click the clipboard icon under the Options column.
You won't see a clipboard icon if the CLM user group doesn't have any assigned join questions.
Answer questions as applicable and click Submit Answers.
Reflection Questions
You may be asked to answer reflection questions when you submit hours for volunteer Needs/Opportunities you've participated in. These questions help the site managers and User Group leaders gauge how their members' volunteer experience went. If the CLM user group has reflection questions, then when you select that User Group on the hour entry form the question appears for you to answer.

You can submit hours for your CLM User Group to help meet your personal and group goals. This is done through the Add Hours button from your top menu bar or the CLM Hours Overview button from your profile menu.
If you go to CLM Hours Overview > select the user group > click Add Hours, it takes you directly to the Track Hours area of your profile where you can follow the same steps outlined below for the Add Hours button.
